Our commitment to reducing environmental impact is evident in our use of cutting-edge technology, particularly through our R290 hydronic heat pumps, which are leading the charge in decarbonising the heating, cooling, hot water and chilled water industry.

Our leading range of Maxa i-290 Inverter Heat Pumps provides solutions for domestic, commercial and industrial projects, ensuring that our network of Next Cycle Specialists has the most sustainable solutions on the market.

R290 is a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with an ultra-low Global Warming Potential (GWP=3). R290’s low GWP means that it has a minimal impact on the environment if released into the atmosphere. This makes R290 a promising alternative as the Australian government tightens restrictions on high-GWP refrigerants and focuses on solutions that will help Australia meet its net zero target through initiatives such as the Consumer Energy Strategy.

Furthermore, as a hydrocarbon, R290 has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP), meaning it doesn’t harm the ozone layer, which is crucial for protecting you and your family from harmful exposure to the sun.

Viessmann Vitocal 161-A
Really happy I went with Next Cycle for my Viessmann Vitocal 161-A. I'm an installer and I run one of these at home as well, so I had a fair idea what I was after, and the whole process with them was smooth from the first enquiry through to delivery. Communication was good, they answered my questions properly, and the after-sales support has actually been there when I've needed it. The Vitocal 161-A itself has been excellent, quiet, efficient and plenty of hot water, and it's been running with no issues for 6 months. Every customer I've put one in for has been happy too. As an installer I get my Viessmann Vitocal 161-A units through Next Cycle and they've been great to deal with. Stock's been available when I've needed it, the team actually know the product and the rebate side (federal STCs plus the state schemes), and they were upfront about the warranty. The 7-year tank and 5-year parts and labour cover gives my customers real peace of mind. Pricing on the R290 DHW heat pump is competitive and ordering is easy. I've put in [a few] of these hot water heat pumps now, including one at my own home, and every client has been stoked with the result. We recently upgraded our old hot water system and hydronic heating boiler to a Viessmann Vitodens 100 through Next Cycle. Our old system was not reliable and since installing the Viessmann system we couldn’t be happier.

Luke and the Viessmann installer were fantastic throughout the entire process — knowledgeable, professional, and really took the time to ensure we were choosing the right boiler for our home. The whole process was smooth and stress-free. Luke went above and beyond after installation, helping us set up the ViCare app and showing us how to use the heating timers and features properly. It’s been about three months since the boiler was installed, and we’re already seeing the difference with noticeably lower gas bills and better overall efficiency.
